A Conference/Comice cross, bred at East Malling, England, Concorde™ has the excellent sweet and aromatic flavor of its parents. Fruit size is medium and skin color is green with a slight blush. There may be some russet under certain growing conditions. Early fruiting and high yield are characteristics of this pear. Concorde^™ has been discribed as a true "grower's variety" with its compact growth and its dark-green, healthy leaves.
